These are a few paintings I did of  Vancouver Island this summer. We hiked down to China Beach one morning and spent the day lounging amongst the bleached driftwood, baking in the sun, and just listening to the waves roll in and out.

  4. hi mikaila, just stumbled upon your paintings today. i used to live in ucluelet on vancouver island and love that tom thompson feel. funny, but it really can look elemental like that! thanks for sharing... -kurt hansen
